FIRST Robotics Info Fair and Robot Petting Zoo!
Adults and kids are invited to come learn about FIRST robotics programs, get hands-on with LEGO robots, and see demonstrations of larger competition robots. Team members and coaches will explain what it’s like to be on a FIRST team — FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition.

July 24 – 26, 2024 on the MU Campus in Columbia
Programmable Robotics Overnight Camp for ages 13 and up
Students stay in dorms and experience life on the MU campus for two days while learning to build and customize AntBot robots. They get to keep the robot when they are done. This camp is a collaboration between MU College of Engineering, CERF and Team 3792 Army Ants.

Aug. 7 – 9, 2024 day camp in Columbia
Underwater Robotics Camp
Students work with Army Ants team members to build and customize a swimming robot using motors, propellers, PVC pipe and more. They will learn all the skills necessary to assemble and program the robot, then on the last day we take it to the pool to test it out.

Aug. 6, 2024 FLL Game Reveal Day!
FIRST LEGO League program team at FIRST headquarters reveals the game details for “Submerged”, this season theme for the FLL Challenge robot game and innovation project. This marks the start of the FLL competition season. The Columbia tournament will be on Saturday, January 11, 2025.

Sept. 7, 20204 FTC Game Reveal Day!
FIRST Tech Challenge program team at FIRST headquarters reveals the details for this year’s robot game, “Into the Deep”. This marks the beginning of the FTC competition season. Columbia teams usually compete at meets and a tournament as part of the North St. Louis FTC League (events are typically in Wentzville, St. Charles, O’Fallon and Ferguson) from November to February.
